Family Law consultations are $100.
Why is the consultation $100?
Unlike Personal Injury consultations, Family Law consultations require essential detail gathering and analysis. Attorney Spain is very thorough and provides you with ample information and attorney insight. After gathering the facts of your case, Attorney Spain breaks down how the law applies to your specific situation, explains what legal claims will best serve your needs, provides you with potential outcomes based on the facts, and quotes you for the cost of representing you. She makes sure you get the value of paying for the consultation instead of providing information that can simply be googled.
How much does representation cost?
Fees are determined on a case by case basis. Everyone has different facts and different needs, so the cost of representation depends on the work necessary for the completion of your case.
How long does a child custody case last?
There is not a standard time frame for any case to last. However, on average child custody cases can last from three months to two years. Attorney Spain strategizes and creates a plan to obtain the goals of her clients in a reasonable and feasible timeframe.
How long will it take me to get divorced?
If you meet all the legal requirements for an absolute divorce that does not involve any other issues, your divorce may be completed in as short as 60 days from the date of filing your complaint. Every person has different circumstances that may arise and change the course and time frame of the case, so no timeline is guaranteed.
